November 1 — 7, we celebrate Inpatient Care Appreciation Week at Amberwell! While it’s also Medical-Surgical Nurses Week, we’re recognizing our entire Inpatient Care team for the exceptional work they do every single day.
Our nurses manage a wide range of medical conditions and provide compassionate support to patients and their families through recovery. Nurse aides deliver essential hands-on care and monitoring, and our unit secretaries keep communication and coordination flowing smoothly. Housekeeping staff maintain a clean, safe environment that’s critical for healing and infection prevention.
We’re also extremely grateful for our hospitalists, dietitians, pharmacists, radiology and imaging specialists, and lab teams—each contributing their expertise to patient care. In addition, our social services, rehab, and dietary teams play key roles in helping patients regain strength and independence.
To show their team pride this week, the team chose special t-shirts that say “Med Surg Squad: All.Day.Every.Day.” It’s a perfect reflection of their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to excellent patient care—every shift, every patient, every day.
