If you are eligible, your coverage start date depends on when the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan receives your completed application and all required documents. Generally, a completed application received on or before the 15th of the month will go into effect on the first day of the next month. A completed application received after the 15th of the month will go into effect on the first day of the following month.
