Caridad Padron, MD

Dr. Caridad Padron is an internal medicine physician that serves as a hospitalist at Amberwell Atchison. Dr. Padron earned her medical degree from Avalon University School of Medicine in Willemstad, Curacao, located in the Caribbean. She completed her residency at Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership in Athens, Georgia, where she was named Resident of the Year two years in a row and received the Nurses’ Choice Award.

Dr. Padron’s inspiration to become a doctor came from her love of the complexity of medicine and her desire to help people. She chose to serve at Amberwell Atchison because of the excellent nursing and medical staff and the unique opportunities to provide patient-centered care to the residents of Atchison and its surrounding areas. While serving in a temporary role as a hospitalist, Dr. Padron was so impressed with the atmosphere and staff at Amberwell Atchison that she decided to asked to join as an employed physician.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Padron enjoys hiking, traveling, exercise, and spending time with family and friends.
