At Amberwell Health, we believe healthcare is about more than the care delivered inside our walls — it’s about the strength and wellbeing of the communities we serve. Supporting local organizations, events, and causes is one of the ways we live out our mission of uniting to sustain the local healthcare our communities deserve.
We’re grateful for the many organizations that invite us to partner with them, and we wish we could say yes to every request. Because we receive more than we’re able to fund, we focus our sponsorship support where it aligns most closely with our mission and makes the greatest difference for the people we serve.
What We Look For
The sponsorship requests that tend to be the strongest fit share a few things in common:
A meaningful connection to Amberwell. We especially value opportunities where there’s a natural tie to our organization — whether through our people, our patients, our history in the community, or shared values around health and wellbeing.
Roots in the communities we serve. Amberwell Health cares for patients across Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, and Leavenworth counties, and we prioritize sponsorships that benefit the communities where our patients live, work, and raise their families.
Reach and impact within the community. We look for opportunities that reach a broad community audience and create visible, lasting benefit — not just for a single group, but for the community as a whole.
What We’re Unable to Fund
As a nonprofit healthcare organization, there are some requests we’re not able to support, including:
- Requests from or on behalf of individuals, including personal medical expenses, travel, or fundraising campaigns
- Political candidates, campaigns, parties, or lobbying activities
- Religious organizations for activities that are primarily religious in nature (we’re glad to consider faith-based organizations whose programs serve the broader community)
- For-profit businesses or events that primarily benefit a for-profit entity
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Activities or events inconsistent with our mission of promoting health and wellbeing
- Events or expenses that have already occurred
- Organizations serving communities outside our service area
How to Request Support
Please submit requests using the form below at least 4 weeks in advance of your event or deadline. Please be sure to complete the form with as much detail as possible. We review requests on a rolling basis and will respond as soon as we’re able. While we aren’t able to support every request we receive, a decline is never a reflection of the value of your cause — only of where our limited sponsorship resources can go in a given year.
