Amberwell Atchison plans to remain open and continue normal operations, but patients should avoid using the drive behind the building.
With the building expansion project at Amberwell Atchison now underway, patient safety and convenience continue to be top priorities. Amberwell Atchison will remain open and continue normal operations during this construction project.
The project includes a new building connected to the back of the current facility to house the materials management department and the conversion of current office space into two surgical procedure rooms and five recovery bays. We’re excited about how the new construction will enable us to better serve our patients!
Over the next few months, patients and visitors should use only the parking areas at the front and west side of the building. Signage has been placed to indicate the direction to go for parking.
All patient and visitor entrances and exits remain unaffected by the project and patient care within Amberwell Atchison will continue as normal. At this time, we only ask that patients and visitors avoid driving around the back of the building.
This building expansion project is scheduled to last about a year. Progress updates will be posted to our website regularly, as well as any information patients or visitors would need to know to continue their care at Amberwell Atchison during this time. Until then, we will continue to serve Atchison and its surrounding areas, providing excellent care and services close to home.
