Blake Phipps, MD

Blake Phipps, MD, is an emergency care provider at Amberwell Atchison.

After earning his MD from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, he completed his residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, where he gained extensive experience in managing acute and life-threatening conditions. His training included a focus on emergency care, obstetrics, and neonatal care, making him well-equipped to handle the diverse challenges of the emergency room.

When he’s not taking care of patients, Dr. Phipps enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley and their two sons, Jack and Louis. He is an avid outdoorsman, often found golfing, fishing, or hunting with his father. In his downtime, Dr. Phipps has developed a love for woodworking, transforming part of his garage into a woodshop where he can unwind through creative projects. A proud supporter of the Kansas Jayhawks, he enjoys watching games and cooking for his family.
