This October, we’re celebrating National Patient Account Management Week! Amberwell Health would like to thank the hardworking team that helps our patients get the care they need and makes the process easier for everyone.
By helping patients understand how to get healthcare, the patient accounts team makes sure people can see primary care providers, feel better, and have a good experience. Their hard work improves how our system works, making it easier and friendlier for everyone at Amberwell.
Here are the different roles we’re celebrating this week:
- Scheduling and Prior Authorization checks patient information and sets up appointments, making sure everything is ready for the visit.
- Case Managers explain care options to patients and help them choose what’s best for their health.
- Patient Access Representatives help patients get through admissions, making sure they’re eligible and answering questions.
- Financial Counselors help patients understand insurance and answer any financial questions they may have.
- Revenue Cycle Clerks handle payments made by patients, help create payment plans and follow up with insurance to keep things organized.
- Patient Account Coordinators help ensure billing is complete and accurate and work with the patients and insurance to ensure accuracy.
- Healthcare Benefits Navigators help patients pick the right insurance plan and guide them through programs like Medicare and Medicaid.
- Accounts Receivable Clerks handle payments, keep records up to date, and make sure everything is correct.
Amberwell’s patient accounts team does amazing work every day. We thank them for making sure all our patients feel cared for and supported!
