Social Work Month 2025: Compassion + Action

March is Social Work Month. It is a time to acknowledge, appreciate and celebrate the social workers of Amberwell and in our community. The 2025 theme for social work month is Social Work: Compassion + Action. This is exactly what social work is about. Social workers care about people and each day, social workers help millions of Americans navigate life’s challenges. Social workers work in many areas of our society—in hospitals, schools, social service agencies, nursing homes, veteran’s centers, mental health centers and rehab facilities. These are just a few areas where you could find a social worker. Social workers are driven by empathy, and they use their expertise to impact millions in profound ways. At Amberwell we are fortunate to have a great group of social workers that have years of experience and vast knowledge to assist in the challenges faced by those we serve.
