May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and at Amberwell, we’re celebrating the team at Senior Life Services (SLS) in Hiawatha.
SLS offers structured day treatment for older adults who are facing emotional or behavioral health challenges like depression, anxiety, grief, or isolation. The goal is simple but powerful: help each person feel more like themselves again through connection, support, and expert care.
But it’s the people behind the program who truly make the difference.
The Senior Life Services team brings warmth, patience, and compassion to every interaction. They create a space where older adults feel safe, and supported. It’s incredibly important work.
This month, we recognized the team with custom-designed appreciation tees. The best part? The design was a collaboration with the team themselves—a way to celebrate both Mental Health Awareness Month and the unique impact of Senior Life Services.
They’ve built something special, and we’re proud to have them as part of the Amberwell family.
