John R. Eplee, MD

Dr. John Eplee has served at Amberwell Atchison for nearly thirty years. He has delivered over 1,600 babies during his medical career and continues to be a part of the lives of many residents in the Atchison area. In 2018, he was nominated for an employee recognition award for his excellence in patient care and in 2019 he was selected as the Kansas Family Physician of the Year. He is board-certified in family practice and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Eplee is also very active in serving the Atchison community. He has served on the Atchison Public Schools Board of Education for ten years and has represented District 63 as a Kansas State Representative since 2017.
