Ilya Stagner, NP-C, is an emergency care provider at Amberwell Hiawatha. Prior to completing the Family Nurse Practitioner Program from Graceland University, Ilya spent four years as a registered nurse in the emergency department. He is excited to provide healthcare in a great community alongside excellent providers.
Ilya’s interest in healthcare originated with his grandmother, who is a pharmacist.
Amberwell Health focuses on patient-centered care. We ask each of our providers to tell us what being patient-centered means to them personally.
“To me, being patient-centered means that the patient’s values guide their healthcare,” said Ilya. “Patient-centered care is individualized to the patient to meet his or her health needs and reach their health goals.”
In addition to caring for patients, Ilya also enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, watching sports, cooking, and grilling.
