From September 15 to 21, we celebrate Surgical Care Appreciation Week and recognize the important work of our surgical care teams at Amberwell.
A Broad Spectrum of Services
Our patient access representatives are often the first point of contact for our patients. They do a great job scheduling appointments and answering questions, helping patients and their families feel comfortable from the very beginning.
Our physician assistants and nurses provide essential services, from assessments and diagnoses to hands-on support in both clinic and surgical settings. Their close coordination with our surgeons ensures that procedures run smoothly and that our patients receive the best care possible.
Safety and Coordination
Safety is at the heart of what we do. Our surgical technologists are meticulous in ensuring that all equipment is sterilized and ready, enabling our surgeons to perform with precision. Our nurse anesthetists are also there every step of the way, managing pain and making sure our patients are comfortable throughout their procedures.
After surgery, the surgical care team coordinates closely with rehabilitation therapy to support our patients’ recovery and works together with inpatient care units for those who need to stay longer, ensuring that care is seamless and consistent.
Providing Support and Guidance
We know that surgery can be a challenging time for our patients and their families. That’s why our team is dedicated to clear communication and providing reassurance from the initial consultation to the follow-up visits. Your commitment to answering questions and offering guidance makes a real difference in their experience.
Thank you to every member of our Surgical Care Team. It takes all of us working together to deliver the exceptional care that Amberwell is known for. Your dedication and hard work are truly appreciated, and we are grateful for everything you do to care for our community.
