During the third week in October, we honor the commitment and dedication of the Quality and Risk Management team at Amberwell. Their hard work ensures that each patient receives the best care possible and that our community benefits from exceptional health services. Amberwell’s healthcare quality professionals strive to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement throughout our organization, aiming to elevate our services, programs, and patient outcomes.
Executive Director of Quality and Risk Management Roni Griffith sets the vision for how we approach quality and risk. She paves the way for excellence, ensuring Amberwell is always at the forefront of patient care standards.
Our healthcare quality coordinators monitor and analyze patient care data to identify areas for improvement, ensuring adherence to established standards. They lead quality improvement initiatives, educate staff on best practices, and ensure regulatory compliance. Through collaboration with various teams, they foster a culture of excellence and continuous enhancement in patient care at Amberwell.
Our medical staff services team works together to oversee the credentialing and privileging of our healthcare providers, ensuring they meet competency and qualification standards. They act as a bridge between our medical staff and hospital administration, facilitating communication and regulatory compliance. Additionally, they coordinate administrative functions, such as medical staff meetings.
Our infection preventionists (IP) are responsible for implementing and overseeing policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infections among patients, staff, and visitors. They monitor and investigate infection outbreaks, educate healthcare personnel on best practices, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal infection prevention guidelines. Our IP plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment at Amberwell.
Our data analyst extracts complex health-related data to help our organization make informed decisions. Their insights guide clinical, operational, and financial decisions, helping to improve patient care, identify health trends, and decide where to allocate resources. In essence, they turn data into useful information.
Our Quality and Risk Management team’s top priority is the safety of our patients. They ensure that the care each patient receives is safe, effective, patient centered, timely, efficient, and equitable. An important part of their role is to collaborate with all service lines to improve processes so that we can provide the best patient experience possible.
Join us in celebrating and thanking our Quality and Risk Management team. Their dedication and expertise make a world of difference at Amberwell and in the lives of those we serve.
