Amberwell Food and Nutrition Services is holding their annual food drive for the Atchison County Food Pantry from March 13 to 17. To donate, please bring non-perishable food items to the main entrance of Amberwell Atchison, Amberwell Eighth Street Clinic, or Amberwell Downtown and place your donations in the designated boxes.
Non-perishable food items include but are not limited to pancake mix, syrup, boxes of cereal, cereal bars, pasta and pasta sauce, canned meats, and easy-to-open cans of soup, vegetables, and fruit. Easy-to-open items and items that don’t require additional ingredients are appreciated—such as microwavable mac and cheese—in case someone doesn’t have butter or milk.
Last year with your help, we were able to donate 312 pounds of food to the Atchison County Food Pantry.
