This week, we’re celebrating the amazing Amberwell Primary Care team across Atchison, Hiawatha, Highland, Horton, Lansing, and Troy. Every member of the team plays an important part in making sure patients of all ages get the care they need. From the front desk to the exam room, everyone has a role in creating a positive experience for our patients.
Patient Access Representatives help make everything run smoothly by scheduling appointments, answering questions, and making sure patients feel welcome. Patient Care Techs and Medical Assistants get things ready for each visit, from recording vitals to prepping charts, so every patient is taken care of. Nurses are pros at multitasking. They give vaccines, draw blood, answer questions, and make sure everyone feels informed and cared for. Medical Scribes keep detailed records, making sure each patient’s health journey is well documented. Patient Transporters help patients get around, whether they’re headed to the lab, radiology, or another part of the facility. Receptionists are the friendly faces who greet patients and families, answer questions, and make sure everyone has a good experience. Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Physicians provide top-notch care for the whole family, from kids to adults. They even offer specialized prenatal care for expectant moms.
Each of these roles works together to ensure every patient feels cared for, but it’s the relationship you build with your primary care provider that truly makes a difference.
Seeing your primary care provider regularly helps build a strong relationship, which leads to more personalized care. Over time, your PCP gets to know you and your health history, making it easier to provide the right care when you need it.
We’re so thankful for our dedicated primary care team. Their hard work and commitment keep our community healthy, and we appreciate everything they do. Thanks for making a difference!
