Our hospitalists have done an incredible job navigating the challenges of the past year. They have stayed up to date with current recommendations for treatment to ensure our patients receive excellent inpatient care while at Amberwell Atchison. Through ingenuity and out of the box thinking, they have been able to provide top level care right here in our community.
Meet Our Hospitalists
Dr. Padron is an internal medicine physician and the most recent member of our team of hospitalists. She is well-traveled and has lived in many places in the US and overseas. She has been working in health care since 2014. Dr. Padron first joined the Amberwell team in November of 2021 as a locum tenens temporary hospitalist to help fill a scheduling void. She loved the culture and team at Amberwell Atchison and decided to join our team on a permanent basis. Dr. Padron will also serve as the medical chairperson for the inpatient service line. She will be instrumental in ensuring we stay up to date with current practices and inpatient treatment. We welcome her to the Amberwell family.
Dr. Dina Seibert is an internal medicine physician who joined the medical staff at Amberwell Atchison in 1999—twenty-three years ago! She has worn many hats over the years. She has been a primary care physician seeing patients in clinic and a medical director for a local nursing home. Most recently, she has helped build the hospitalist program at Amberwell Atchison to improve the care our patients receive when they need to be hospitalized.
Dr. McGarrett Groth is a family physician who has been with Amberwell for almost ten years. He currently sees patients at the Troy and Horton clinic locations while also working in the ER at Amberwell Atchison and serving as a hospitalist.
