Gerald W. Clevenger, MPAS, PA-C, will be retiring on October 15, 2021, after twenty years as a physician assistant at Amberwell Troy Clinic and a total of forty-five years serving in healthcare.
“During the last twenty years of my forty-five years in family medicine, I feel humbled and blessed to have served the families of Northeast Kansas,” said Jerry. “I will forever cherish my patients from the Doniphan County area for their ongoing support of our clinic. It is a difficult decision to retire, but it is made easier knowing you will be in great hands with our staff. I wish everyone nothing but the best. May God bless each and every one of you!”
Jerry has enjoyed his time as a part of Amberwell Health. “I am proud of our growth and leadership in providing quality healthcare for all of our patients,” he said. “I feel our dedicated staff goes above and beyond to ensure our patients get the best care possible. I have always been proud to say that I work for Amberwell Health.”
An interesting fact about Jerry is that in his forty-five years as a PA, there has been only one time that he has taken more than two weeks off. In his retirement, Jerry looks forward to spending more time with family and friends, attending his grandchildren’s school activities and sporting events, improving his golf game, and traveling.
Although we are sad to say goodbye to such an excellent provider, we are so happy for Jerry and wish him all the best in his retirement years.
