Our Amberwell Radiology and Imaging teams are dedicated to excellence at every level.
- Radiology Technologists: Handle basic imaging exams, keep equipment in top condition, and make sure patients are safe.
- Mammography Technologists: Focus on breast imaging procedures, ensure equipment works properly, and take care of patient comfort.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologists: Work with radiopharmaceuticals, operate cameras for diagnostic images, and keep safety a top priority.
- MRI Technologists: Use the latest Magnetic Resonance Imaging machines to create detailed images of the inside of the body, all while keeping patients safe and comfortable.
- Ultrasound Technologists: Use sonography to get images of internal body structures, helping doctors make accurate diagnoses and care for patients.
- Lead Technologists: Manage the Radiology and Imaging departments, looks after the team, keep equipment in good shape, and ensure patients receive high-quality care.
With upgraded radiology equipment installed in 2023 at both locations, Amberwell Atchison and Amberwell Hiawatha are now better equipped to serve the community. These upgrades wouldn’t be possible without the commitment of our Radiology and Imaging teams.
Beyond their commitment to patient care, the Radiology and Imaging teams at Amberwell Atchison and Hiawatha showcase their dedication to community health through their annual fundraiser. Each year, they spearhead a t-shirt sale, opening the opportunity for all Amberwell employees to contribute. The proceeds from these sales are generously donated to breast cancer charities, reflecting the teams’ deep sense of responsibility and their spirit of giving back.
