We are excited to welcome Justin Theleman, MD, to the Emergency Care team at Amberwell Atchison. Prior to joining Amberwell, Dr. Theleman completed his residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria where he gained extensive experience treating patients in both urban and rural emergency room settings.
Dr. Theleman was raised on a farmstead in a small town of about three hundred residents near Hays, Kansas. One of his biggest motivations for becoming a doctor was to provide care for small communities in need, like the one he grew up in. “I chose Amberwell because I was looking for an opportunity to serve in a more rural area,” said Dr. Theleman. “I grew up in an extremely rural community and understand firsthand how important it is for people to have access to quality healthcare close to home.”
