Happy National Hospitalist Day! The role of hospitalist originated in the late 1990s as a way for providers to spend focused time caring for hospitalized patients. The hospitalists at Amberwell provide personalized, one-on-one care to our patients. They monitor them during their stay and are accessible in case of emergencies. They work closely with therapists, dieticians, pharmacists, staff, and technicians participating in treatments to ensure our patients are getting the care they need to recover as safely and completely as possible.
