Your care provider will refer you to our physical therapy team for treatment and rehabilitation, as needed. At Amberwell Atchison, your primary care provider or your surgeon has quick and easy access to your physical therapist to provide important information about your condition. This information will help your therapist design the most effective rehabilitation plan for you. Similarly, if your therapist has any questions about your treatment or recovery, he or she has access to the provider who referred you to physical therapy. This communication can have a positive impact on your recovery time.
Our Amberwell Atchison physical therapy team is able to focus on continuity of care. Our team provides treatment when you are an inpatient in need of physical therapy services. Then, they continue providing treatment when you become an outpatient who visits for therapy sessions or as a part of our Amberwell Health at Home program. These different services ensure that your care is always safe and familiar and administered by people you know and trust.
