L.R. Searight, MD

L.R. Searight, MD, has been a primary care physician at Amberwell Hiawatha since 2017.

Dr. Searight has been practicing family medicine for 38 years, including 32 years of delivering new lives.

Dr. Searight was inspired to go into the medical field because of his two hometown physicians, Mary Glassen, MD, and Verlyn Steinkruger, MD. Both were caring and dedicated to the wellbeing of everyone’s lives they touched.

Dr. Searight’s family are the blessing and light of his life. “They are caring, talented, and interesting in more ways than I can count,” said Dr. Searight, “and I appreciate how they are always there for me.”

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Searight enjoys traveling and gardening.
