Melissa Huntington, PA-C

Melissa Huntington, PA-C, is a primary care provider at Amberwell Atchison. She has been with our organization since 2010. Prior to joining Amberwell, she had served in more heavily populated areas. Melissa received her physician assistant degree from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. She serves as the president of the Cray Diabetes Medical Research Foundation at the University of Kansas Health System. 

Melissa enjoys living and working in Atchison where she can really get to know her patients, both in the clinic and in the community. Melissa was inspired to become a physician assistant because of the influence of her childhood care provider, Sister Mary Rae Schrick.
