What to Expect
Procedure Setting: Outpatient
Before: You’ll have a consultation with Dr. Warren and his team, undergo tests to evaluate the cysts, and receive instructions on preparing for surgery.
During: Under general anesthesia, a few small incisions will be made in your abdomen. Dr. Warren will insert a laparoscope to view the ovaries and remove the cysts. The procedure typically lasts about 1-2 hours.
After: Most patients go home the same day. You may experience some discomfort, managed with medication. Follow-up appointments ensure proper healing.
