At Amberwell, we’re dedicated to keeping our community’s seniors safe and healthy. Our free Fall Risk Assessment Program helps identify those at risk of falls, improving their quality of life and reducing healthcare costs from fall-related injuries.
What We Offer:
Personalized Assessments: Quick and thorough evaluations by our expert team.
Comprehensive Results: Each participant receives a detailed assessment sheet to share with their primary care provider.
Pre-Made Event Flyers: Prior to the event, you’ll receive pre-made event flyers that you can distribute to your residents and display around your facility.
Screening Details:
Timed Up and Go (TUG): Measures the time it takes to stand up, walk three meters, turn around, walk back, and sit down.
30 Second Chair Rise: Counts how many times you can stand up from a seated position in 30 seconds.
4 Stage Balance Test: Tests your ability to maintain balance in progressively difficult positions.
Benefits:
Minimal Staff Involvement: Our team handles all aspects of the screening.
Quick and Efficient: Each assessment takes only 5-10 minutes.
Free of Charge: This program is completely free to enhance community health.
Recommended Schedule:
While annual screenings are recommended, Amberwell suggests screening every 6 months for the best results.

If you’re resident is identified as at risk, we recommend they consult with their primary care provider about a referral for fall risk prevention therapy to enhance stability and reduce fall risks.
