During Respiratory Care Week, October 20-26, Amberwell wants to thank and honor the hard-working respiratory care teams at Amberwell Atchison and Amberwell Hiawatha. These teams help people of all ages, from babies to the elderly, who have trouble breathing. They give important treatments like oxygen, help with ventilators, and give medicine to help people breathe better.
Because our team is dedicated to caring for all patients, no matter their age, Amberwell offers a special service at our Atchison location for babies under 24 months with bronchiolitis. This service, called nasal suctioning, helps babies breathe better and is available with a referral from any local primary care provider.
We are proud of our respiratory care teams and all the work they do to help people with heart and lung problems. This week, we celebrate their great work and offer sincere thanks for everything they do!
