Growing team creates improved access to care
Since joining Amberwell Health, Amberwell Hiawatha has focused on improving access to care. Throughout 2022, Amberwell Hiawatha’s primary care team added four new healthcare providers, which now allows us to offer same-day appointments for our area communities.
In January, Amberwell Hiawatha welcomed Monica Scholz, FNP-C, to the primary care team.
July saw the addition of Kristy Selland, CNM, APRN, and finally in September, the Amberwell Hiawatha Primary Care team welcomed Mariah Kriwiel, MD. Each of these exceptional care providers are excited to meet you and serve your healthcare needs.
In addition to expanding their healthcare team, Amberwell Hiawatha has rolled out a new health records system. The system, MEDITECH Expanse, connects patient records across Amberwell facilities. Sharing records offers a complete health history, regardless of where care was received within the Amberwell system, each patient can be assured that their record is accessible to providers at other Amberwell locations. Patients can also view their records, manage their own care, and interact with Amberwell providers through a secure patient portal, myAmberwellHealth.
